Did nothing much on the first day in KL. Our bus left Habourfront Centre at 10am and we quickly made our way to KL. The bus stopped right in front our hotel, Corus Hotel. Checked in and met Boss as soon as we arrived. Had our short meeting, boss settled the rooms and gave us allowances and off he goes. Hehe.
Went touring around the hotel area. I swear the hotel is located at an awesome location. Hahaha. It’s near to everything in the world!! Hahha. So yeah, we walked around the area, to KLCC and many more. Went back to the hotel at around 8pm where Shakila and Lulu got ready to party, while I stayed at the hotel the whole night alone.
Day 2 was fun. Explored the city. Cabbed to Bukit Bintang for lunch at A&W!!!!! :D And then my 1day old sandal decided to snap in the middle of town and we had to start shopping for new shoes and so on. The girls went shopping like crazy. Hahaha. We tried to take the LRT to Petaling Street to start my site-study. Heheh yeahh! ^^ Train ride has never been fascinating as this. Haha Jakun x100000!! Haha. Site-studied the Central Market and gave up taking pictures at Petaling Street. Too tired already!
Cabbed back to the hotel at around 6pm and was stuck in traffic for almost an hour. We almost got into an accident too, thanks to the idiot who tried to make a right turn from the left lane -.- Thank God nothing serious happened. Had dinner at the hawker centre opposite our hotel before Oza’s bus arrived and she joined us for the night.
Started Day 3 in KL with Subwayyyyyyyyy for breakfast!!!! Finally right?! Some halal Subway! Woohhh, the bestest sandwich in the world! Hahaha! After that we cabbed to Jaya One for Lulu’s site-survey. Went around interviewing people and all. Had hilarious moments here and there. Hahaha. Awesome bunch of people! <3
Tried taking the bus to go to the MRT station to head to Masjid India for my site-study. Love adventures!! Trying out new things in an unfamiliar place. Awesome feeling! hahaha. Walked around, took pictures, shopped and it started to rain. Got hungry after a while. Walked around looking for a place to eat and saw A&W again. Since Oza haven’t tried it yet, we had lunch there. Went to shop for snacks at Wisma Haniffa (?) a place that serves the exact same purpose like Mustafa Centre. Hahaha.
Took the train to Kampung Bahru for our seafood dinner!! Had cockles, chilli crab, 3-flavoured fish, buttered prawns and chicken tom yam soup! Woahhhh! We finished it all in minutes and guess how much it costs us?! Only SGD35!! Crazy shitssssssssss! Hahahahhaha. One of the best dinner I’ve ever had, considering that I don’t really favour seafood. Hahaa! Cabbed home after that. Taxi driver was the best. Brought us to refuel his cab and talked abt all the stuff in the world. Haha
Had Nando’s for brunch at Suria KLCC on the 4th day in KL. Wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be. Bleahhh. Walked around the area to take pictures when we saw a family asking a security guard to take a picture of them with the twin towers. The security guard took a picture for them in a really hilarious position! Had us laughing the whole day! Haha
Took the cab to Bukit Bintang again for more shopping before taking the train to Petaling Street again. Shopped for more stuff this time. Oza and I even had our hands covered in henna art. Hahaha Oza’s henna design turns out nice and mine just looks crappy as shit! Hahaha -.- Blame the henna tip to be cut too big, it came out thick-.- bleahhhh. Took the train back and went to pack dinner from Avenue K which was just beside our hotel. The girls packed nasi lemak while I had Subway. Went to Oza’s room to eat before returning back to our room and the girls got ready for Zouk. Haha
Waking the girls up on the last day was hardddddddd. Hahahha! Too much partying lah tsk tsk. Anyway we managed to get ready on time, checked out, left our bags at the hotel and went out for brunch. Oza and I had Secret Recipe’s Chicken Cordon Bleu!! Finally after craving it for a year! Hahaha! Shakila and Lulu had Nasi Lemak just a floor above ours.
Couldn’t decide where to head to so I suggested we go to the Pavilion near Bukit Bintang to take pictures with the bears installation that we saw the past few days while cabbing to Bukit Bintang. They have bears that represent all the different countries in the world! Too cute! Hahha. Did last minute shopping at the malls near the area. The girls went to sheesha at the place nearby.. Blah blah bah. Went back to the hotel at 5pm, packed us some Subway and waited for our bus to go back to SG!
Bus came at 6pm and off we go..home! Reached SG at 11pm. Cabbed home! And taddaaaaaaa!
It really was an adventure travelling from one place to another with the girls. Tried different food, different transportation and meeting different sides of people. Hahaha! Love this trip to the maxxxxxxxx! Gotta thank Boss a million for this trip! See you again soon, KL!! xoxo.
